So there!

I do know that this little corner of my world still exists..........even when left unattended for MONTHS on end. So here you go, my life in bullet points:

*School is going great. Hard to sit in a class with young 20 somethings who are usually there because they have to because their social worker told them they had to get an education. I've decided that I'm old because I actually know the importance of learning as much as I can. Tests are going great, my first paper I turned in to Intro to Human Services got an A, took a test in Marriage & Family tonight and got an A.........nothing less than a B on all my work so far into my first month of college life. Hooray!

*Bob's armed healed up nicely. He's back to work and getting along superbly. He's been the recipient of lots of my dad's woodworking tools, so thinks that his winter will be spent in the garage. Fun for him, difficult for me.

*Angie, as you probably know, ended up in CO for one month and ended her relationship with Kevin. She is enjoying her 2nd semester of school and has been working every weekend at the Keeter on banquets.

*Matt is too big for his britches........'nuf said.......

*Katey is too pretty for her own good. She ran crosscountry again this fall. Not the best runner on the team, but enjoys the sport.

*Lauren is just as cute as ever. Still chatters away about anything and everything.

That's about it in a nutshell. If you want details, you better ask via email :-)

Have a great one!

Welcome to my corner of the Universe

This is really just a personal journal of things in my life. I don't update often, just when I need to vent or do some therapeutic journaling. I'm glad you stopped by. If you feel like leaving some encouragement, please do so...we all need a kind word every now and again! Have a blessed day!

About Me

My photo
I'm a 45 year old mother of 4 biological children and currently 2 other little ones who are living with us temporarily. I've been in love with the same man since 1981 and appreciate him more and more the longer we are together. I delayed going to college until I was in my 40's, a decision I don't regret as it has been a wonderful experience for me. I have learned so much and having several years of life experience has given me great perspective.
