Thankful for.....

Friends who love me even when I don't post for months.........
Grades.......so far almost all A's, even in the class that I started out strongly disliking!
Kids who grow up way too fast and say words like "associative properties" after a 2nd grade math lesson.
A husband who cooks for me, buys groceries (sometimes in excess ie: 25 lbs of whole wheat flour from C of O), loves me despite my flaws and encourages me always.
Family.......sisters who make me laugh and who make me cry
Pain because it is what draws me closer to Jesus
Joy because it draws me closer to Jesus
Music......especially Christmas....especially "One King" by Point of Grace
A warm house, that although is set at 68 degrees is still much warmer than what some people are experiencing tonight.
and much much more........want to add to my list?

I'm a 45 year old mother of 4 biological children and currently 2 other little ones who are living with us temporarily. I've been in love with the same man since 1981 and appreciate him more and more the longer we are together. I delayed going to college until I was in my 40's, a decision I don't regret as it has been a wonderful experience for me. I have learned so much and having several years of life experience has given me great perspective.
