hmmm....

Well, Jeanne....let's see....

Gotta new job at work. I'll be the admissions coordinator, transportation director extraordinare. :) I'll have my own office (of course with windows, a whole wall of them!) and I'll be a manager for the 2 people in the office with me plus our five bus drivers...well, actually there are 4 drivers, but I'm interviewing for a 5th.

We've completed our foster parent training and are now waiting for licensing from the state of Iowa. Only God knows where that will lead us.

Matt had his Eagle Scout ceremony a few weeks ago. That was wonderful. We are so proud.

Katey is babysitting for 2 families at our house this summer...4 kids plus Lauren keep her pretty busy. They are from 5 - 11 in age so are pretty good to occupy themselves most of the time. And of course, she has a boyfriend. He graduated last month and will be going to school locally so I don't expect to be rid of him anytime soon. :-)

Lauren is just as cute as ever and smart too! She's loving the extra kids around, especially since one family is a former neighbor and the girl is her age. Plus there are several girls her age in the neighborhood so they are having a grand ol time.

Miss Angie has a serious boyfriend at school. She's working at White Water at SDC, a few hours at a couple of retails at the outlet and she's an RA for her dorm. Too busy to come home this summer. Probably won't be (as Lauren says) at least 2 seasons before we have her at home. She's debating applying for the Institute, although the boy does play a huge part in that decision.

Made a trip to Chicago in May for Bob's grandma's funeral. She was less than 2 weeks away from turning 96. A good long life with many friends and very few enemies. That's the way I want to be!

We're busy at church. Bob's a Deacon and I'm on the Children & Family ministry team. Bob's still involved in Scouts with Matt.

Tulip Time came and went and still no Colorado friends come visit us by way of KC...sigh...however the good news is that Debbie is coming to visit us at the end of her big trip up to MN next month. I'm uber excited about that!

How's that for an update?

Oh...and if you're not Jeanne...hi there...don't expect anything new and exciting around here. I'm not as good as the professional bloggers who log in every day and tell cute and fun stories about their kids. :-)
